We have been conducting educational tours since 1993. We take great pride in the fact that many of our groups are repeat visitors or groups visiting as a result of a recommendation.

Dewa Roman Experience offers two activities, both of which are led by experienced members of staff. We welcome groups of all ages, sizes and abilities.

The museum visit takes approximately 1½ hours to complete which allows time for the use of the gift shop if applicable. During this time your guide will take you step by step through your visit at Dewa.

Visitors should bring only what is essential through the museum and items such as bags, pads and pens etc are not considered necessary.

Should you want to include a specific topic during your visit please let us know prior to your starting date and we will happily adjust our tour to suit.

Dewa Roman Soldier Patrols take 1 hour to complete. We take groups of up to 30 per patrol and it is an ideal activity to complement a visit to our museum. Our tours run all year, so it is very important to come prepared for adverse weather conditions.

The march includes the major archaeological sites such as Chester's Roman Ampitheatre, sections of the defensive walls and the Roman Gardens.
